This is a commission requested by 1stQueenYuko. Thank you so much for giving me this wonderful commission. I enjoyed working with you.


The character, character design, and most of the composition of this image belongs to CLAMP, Production GI, and Kodansha. It is a fan art of ツバサ Tokyo Relevations (Tsubasa Tokyo Relevations). Since I was asked to draw one particular scenery from that anime, I tried to draw it closest to the original as much as possible. However, since I didn't watch that anime, I made up character's expressions by referring to original manga, ツバサ-RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE.

It is my first time drawing these characters as well as drawing two characters right next to each other.

It's totally random and stupid but interesting at the same time.

Next 3D CG style I will be pursuing

I created this as a practice last night while using this Cinema 4D tutorial.


I have two images in mind which might not be as colorful as the tutorial but will definitely use this new 3D CG technique in how to add textures. I will start working on it once I'm done with collab illustration (which I hope to finish within a week) and next manga page.

This is just one method of creating 3D CG vector images.

where I couldn't produce BW shading so I drew them myself. I found out last night that it's just because I didn't change shading's "quantize" to 1. So... all those black shading was just done with a click of a mouse last night compared to a few days for this page.

ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

This is my first art trade where I tried to present Wings-of-Shadow's O.C., Disciple as a puppy.

I used digital water color as a method to paint since he belongs in heaven. I wanted a dreamy look.

Swine Flu

This is the condition in many shops in Kansai now- all masks are gone from shelves due to panic caused by swine flu epidemic. Schools in Osaka and Hyogo prefectures have closed down. Hospitals in Kobe are in chaos due to panic.


Even though the swine flu is similar to old ones, people still fear it. So, areas that don't even have it yet ran out of masks. The earliest we could get is in the middle of June since all the companies ran out of them.


People around me talked about masks all day, and so I called up my relatives who are in the area close to where latest cases were found just to see if they were ok.

The response I got was:

LOL

"Oh, if the mask runs out, I just have to make them from gauze. I used to do that long time ago (lol)"





So... there shouldn't be too much panic going on, but people are still afraid of this new type of flu since they don't know about it. Anything new- people fear, and even though I'm supposed to be fine, people around me panic so I panicked as well. Fear is more contagious than flu.


And, even worse, I always imagine scenes from I am Legend whenever I hear about flu from people around me. If it happens for real, I'm dead for sure.

Blue, Green, or White Feature

I included blue, green, or white works from my art buddies, those provided by random artists, and my personal favorites. I would like to thank those artists for helping me out.

Since I haven't heard from my art buddy yet, I will be releasing the latest illustration later. I must say that... I had a hard time drawing that one... since I didn't practice much of similar sort... so hopefully... she likes it... well, I did my best.

I've started on the collab illustration last night. It's working out well for this one since it's something I'm used to.

I think I will be working on art trade and collab works from now. I decided to finish this page beforehand so there's some progress. Dang... I couldn't work on this much last night since I was feeling unwell from a minor form of heatstroke. I slept really early and ate breakfast -> charged to max!!
