since I wanted to make it since I first started TLOF.

This might change as Ch.3 progresses/ as I get better with Typography, but it's what I will be using for the chapter I'm producing right now.

I resumed drawing TLOF manga last night. This time, it will be Ch. 3, something that's chronological order from Ch. 2. Ch. 2.3 was just one-shot that's bangai-hen, a side-story more to clarify myself and readers about relationships between two individuals... Hisen and that fur-light-air-or-whatever-ball thing.


The Japanese version of Ch. 2.3 was listed in one Japanese amateur manga website (DreamTribe) yesterday as the recommended reading list! This was the fifth time my manga got on that list- and all of my TLOF chapter and one short manga (in Japanese), were on that one time or another.

Update

I'm working on one illustration now (will finish within a few days), and probably will do 3D CG for the next piece which I will submit to the gallery next month.

Thinking over for the past few days, I think I will start drawing TLOF Ch.3 before working on magazine submission materials to get more practice. I think with more practice, I can get the hang of manga further.


I'm done with the rough name of about 6 pages and believes that this is better than scripts I created before. Since this one will be a full chapter, I'm aiming it to go till about 24-32 pages. However, it will have less concluding chapter since this is not one-shot work but series.

Done with the last page of the chapter which took me 4-5 months to produce!!! Yaaaay!


What was hardest about this chapter was the fact that I had to return to it after 3 months of slacking it off due to commissions, contest submission materials, and other projects. In addition, I had a trouble with scripts since the content changed greatly from the one I planned at the beginning. Anyway- I finished it so yaaaaaay!!

903 shell fish stuff in total for the first koma. If you count the pearl head thingmy on a mermaid's head- then it will be around 913 or something...

Since it's 1:15 am, I will go off to sleep. I will work on illust later when I have time. I got too lazy drawing a monster for this one, so I made it simple. This chapter will probably end within 3 more pages or so.

I think my next page for TLOF Ch. 2.3 I was working on the side for the past few months- procrastinating mostly- won't be in B&W.


It's cause I think I reached a limit for what I can express in B&W for that particular scene. In addition, I don't think I drew TLOF page in color- so it shall be that.
